The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) in Kampala, Uganda was founded in 1990 as a joint partnership between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defence. The clinic is affiliated with Makerere University and receives support from both government and private resources, including DDCF and competitive grants.
